The Institute is conducting a study evaluating the effectiveness of Transformative Couples Therapy®, with the goal of publishing the results in a peer-reviewed journal. No study results are claimed here.

Research Objective
The publicly stated objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of TCT and seek peer-reviewed publication of the results. The Institute does not claim demonstrated effectiveness or publish findings that are not supported by completed, published research.
Research Process
The current public study information describes sixteen weekly 75-minute online therapy sessions with a TCT Research Team therapist. Participants complete confidential questionnaires at specified points during and following treatment. The application and screening sequence includes an interest form, an introductory conversation, an initial questionnaire, coded participant responses, eligibility review, additional questionnaires and scheduling when eligibility is confirmed.

Participating therapists are experienced TCT practitioners who consult and support one another as a research team. Their current names, credentials, jurisdictions and contact information are maintained on the Research Study page.
